Although Brother Von doom has broken up, their album “Relentless” continues to be listened to all the way through from first to last song on my iTunes. When the intro song kicks in, you’re only getting settled into listening to one amazing album. No one song is my favorite, as they all contain their own mood and originality.

This band stands out to me as one of my favorite bands whether I’m in the mood for some catchy riffing, some death metal, or even some metalcore. A lot of their riffs are more intricate than others, yet some of their most simple guitar work completes this album and makes it not only another death metal album, but also makes it a smooth and simple easy album to understand. The drumming is fast, upbeat, varied, and most importantly, it goes perfectly with the music and vocals.
I could say that the vocalist may be one of my ultimate favorite vocalists. His lows and highs are both at par. Overall he has a great range and knows just how to match the vocals with the tempo of the songs. The production value is also nothing short of amazing, especially with this release being their first and last full length album. For whoever winds up falling in completely and utter love with this album and band, I’m entirely with you. Hopes go towards waking up one day to a new Brother Von Doom album.
